Tahlia Petrosians individuelles Spiel der Bratsche wurde durch renommierte Musikpreise auf drei Kontinenten geehrt. Als Solistin und Kammermusikerin gastierte sie außerdem unter anderem im Wigmore Hall London, im Sydney Opera House, in der Semperoper Dresden, am Tanglewood Music Center USA, in der Berliner Philharmonie, im Gewandhaus zu Leipzig, sowie direkt auf 5th Avenue mittendrin in New York. Als Recording Artist spielte Tahlia Petrosian die Soundtracks zu „Herr der Ringe“ und „Australia“ ein. Die in Australien geborene Bratschistin spielt seit 2013 im Gewandhausorchester und ist begeistert, Tradition und Modernität zusammen unter einen Hut im NBCM zu bringen und Musik aus der Zeit zu spielen, als ihre Heimat noch nicht ein Fleck auf der Weltkarte zu sehen war.
Tahlia Petrosian’s unique viola playing has been recognised with the award of music prizes on three continents. Born in Australia, Tahlia joined the Gewandhaus Orchestra in 2013 and she is excited to bring tradition and modernity together in NBCM and to perform music from a time before her homeland was even on the world map.
